I loved being here when I visited in 2017 and 2018. Salvatore Brandi was awesome. The location and outdoor seating space was beautiful. Shown in the photo is gnocchi.
Nice indoor atmosphere. The food was ok. All the other restaurants had lines, this one was empty at noon Saturday. With low expectations most of us felt the food was "good". Service was great and the food came out quickly. We liked the vege sandwich. The Fried Calamari appetizer left a lot to be desired. The salmon arugula salad was great. Spaghetti with meatball was good. The burger was large and good. The ricotta with cheese was ok - not special.
Italian restaurant located in the heart of Dumbo near all the touristy traffic. It's a small restaurant but could fit at least 6-8 tables. Great ambiance. Cozy feels with homey, Christmas decor. I've got to admit I read reviews and did not have high expectations for this place. A lot of complaints about the customer service and food. However, my experience was contrary. The waiter that tend to my party was nice and attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed. For the food, I had the calamari, smoked salmon arugula salad, and eggplant parm as appetizers. For my entree, I had grilled branzino served as a fillet and served with veggies. I also tried their mash potatoes. I thought $10 for a side of mash was bit on the pricier side but it was creamy and delish! All the dishes were delicious, especially the mashed potato, branzino and smoked salmon arugula salad. I left full and happy.
I see this place quite often walking through the neighborhood and today was a perfect day to try it out for late lunch. Salad was fine, and burrata with prosciutto which I was waiting the most for wasn't satisfying much. One little piece of prosciutto wrapped around two tiny asparagus- I expected little more, the burger was great:) I felt great being there for it ambiance, to me seemed like all guests enjoyed their experiences, very unique decorations with lots of details in art - definitely eye catching. Service was attentive and got us everything in a right time
Everyone is so nice and sweet The food was delicious I recommend the grilled streak !!!
Fantastic! We stopped in for some dinner after taking the Ferry to Dumbo and were NOT disappointed. The ambiance (we sat on the beautiful patio), the service, and the food was excellent. We had the Vodka Sauce with gluten free noodles, mussels, and tri-color salad. All was to die for! And the bread is wonderful. A must-try in Downtown BK! PS: we brought our dog and they gave her water and were very kind.
We did not have dinner here! This review is just for the service and cannoli. We were walking around Brooklyn waiting to go to a friends so we stopped in for a beverage and were inspired to get a cannoli. We were helped by Julia, and she was so sweet. We then got a cannoli and it was so freakin delicious. I moved away from NY about 7 years ago and boy have I missed a good cannoli. It was very satisfying. We just had our normal mixed beverages. From what we saw other people eating, their food looked delicious.
What a lovely evening at Old Fulton Restaurant! Julia made us feel welcomed and started the evening with the best French Martini's. I had the salmon Dijon with capers and vegetables! Perfection! My friend had Linguine with white clam sauce and the smell of garlic and wine made my mouth water. The ambiance inside and outside is beautiful! Love the portrait on the back wall with the waterfall! The Tiramisu keeps me hooked! I could not think of a better place to enjoy with my friend! Julia thank you for just being a warm, caring host with real martini skills
